Summary/Abstract: The most significant human migration of the 21st century is referred to by various terms, such as climate migration, ecological migration and environmental migration. At the root of this displacement lie climate-related environmental degradations. Due to its geographical location, Türkiye is affected by these migration flows in two ways. Firstly, the fact that it is among the countries affected by climate change makes it a source country for climate-induced migration. Secondly, as with other migration flows, those migrating due to climate change are on the route to Europe. However, this topic, particularly as it relates to Türkiye, had not been sufficiently researched by 2020. The starting point of this study is to draw attention to this shortcoming. Indeed, since 2020, the importance of this issue has begun to be recognised to a greater extent. The aim of this study is to highlight the importance of the subject by reviewing the research conducted up to the specified year (It is planned to assess studies conducted after 2020 separately). Also, the aim is to provide a literature review for future research on this topic.
