Summary/Abstract: This section brings together three complementary literary contributions. Ciprian Vălcan’s Pride as a Work of Art is a collection of philosophical aphorisms that employs irony, paradox, and concise reflection to examine pride, truth, philosophy, literature, power, and the contradictions of human existence. Francisko Kocsis’s Carpe Diem continues the author's long-running anthology of quotations from classical and modern writers, accompanied by brief commentaries that highlight the enduring relevance of literary and philosophical wisdom. The section concludes with Lucian Perța’s poetic rewriting and performance of Nicolae Coande’s Down with Garbage! (Speech from a Utopian Parlia-Men), a satirical text that transforms political discourse into poetry while denouncing environmental degradation, civic indifference, and contemporary consumerism. Together, these contributions explore ethical, cultural, and social questions through the complementary forms of the aphorism, the literary anthology, and poetic reinterpretation.
