Summary/Abstract: This research examines the diversity of Qur'anic recitations (Qira'at) and its linguistic and legislative dimensions, viewing it as a manifest aspect of the text's inimitability and an expansion of its semantic horizons. The problem of the study lies in clarifying the nature of this multiplicity: Is it a variation characterized by contradiction and conflict, or a legitimate diversity that enriches the meaning? Furthermore, the study aims to refute misconceptions that equate the variation in recitations with the distortions (tahrif) found in previous scriptures. Adopting a descriptiveanalytical methodology, the research reviews the criteria for accepting a recitation—namely, the authenticity of the chain of transmission (isnad), conformity with Arabic grammar, and adherence to the Uthmanic codex (rasm)—and its relationship to the revelation of the Qur'an in "Seven Modes" (Ahruf) as a facilitation for the Ummah . The research also analyzes patterns of variation in wording and meaning, emphasizing that this diversity performs an interpretative function that opens broad semantic vistas and contributes effectively to the derivation and orientation of legislative rulings (ahkam) without any contradiction. Through applied models, the study concludes that the diversity of recitations represents a robust structural unity, where the linguistic aspect remains subordinate to the authenticity of transmission and the precision of the isnad. The value of this study lies in providing a disciplined scientific treatment that reveals the cognitive richness inherent in the recitations, confirms the preservation of the Qur'anic text from inconsistency, and highlights how a single recitation can function in place of multiple verses in encompassing meanings and detailing rulings
