Summary/Abstract: This study examines the effects of changing perceptions of security on leadership models in the field of security management. Over time, the expansion of the scope of the concept of security and its evolution into a multidimensional structure have led to significant changes in the field of security management. In particular, the emergence of new types of threats, globalization, and technological advancements have rendered traditional security approaches inadequate, bringing more flexible, participatory, and multi-stakeholder management approaches to the forefront. This transformation process has directly influenced leadership concepts and paved the way for newgeneration leadership models to gain prominence in security management. In this study, the aforementioned leadership models were evaluated within the unique framework of security management. The study is based on literature review and document analysis methods. Within the scope of the research, academic publications, books, and reports related to the subject were examined; the data obtained were evaluated using the document analysis technique. In the analysis of the data, the descriptive analysis method was used to thematically address leadership models in the field of security management. The study concluded that a single leadership model is insufficient in security management; rather, situational and multidimensional leadership approaches that can adapt to changing conditions are more effective.
