Historical Development of Simulation Training Education of Cadets at Vasil Levski National Military University

Summary/Abstract: The article explores the historical development of simulator training at the Vasil Levski National Military University which is the direct successor to the first military school in Bulgaria after the Liberation in 1878. The research is based on archival documents from the 1521 fund of the military school from the State Military History Archive. The scientific work presents the main simulator systems that have been created, implemented and applied in the course of training of cadets in the university in the period from its establishment from the last decades of the 20th century to the present days.
