Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the definition of efficiency of state foreign policy. As a result of theoretical research, the definition of efficiency that views efficiency of state foreign policy as the relationship between the intended objectives and the achieved effects, taking into account the resources used and measures adopted in the pursuit of these objectives. It is the sum of the component efficiencies in achieving the country’s raison d’etat, its long-term and short-term objectives and ad hoc goals, and finally the level of state activity in the international arena
