Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes four categories of associative manifestations of the General Association of Romanian Church Chanters as recorded in its official organ, *Cultura* (1911–1944): pedagogical excursions and guild pilgrimages (with the traditional core at Viforâta Monastery, in the presence of Macarie Ieromonahul’s relics), eparchial and county conferences (with an eight-stage type structure articulated as an instrument of continuous formation and liturgical-musical standardization), celebrations with commemorative and pedagogical function (from patron-saint feasts and guild jubilees to major public moments, such as the celebration of 1 November 1925 occasioned by the enthronement of Patriarch Miron Cristea with a concert performed by the „Carmen” Society), and society concerts as a form of public affirmation of the guild’s musical professionalism. Across more than three decades, these manifestations together constituted the infrastructure through which a lower ecclesial body built its professional identity, internal cohesion, and social visibility. The article closes with a section dedicated to the specific relevance of these manifestations for the life of church chanters.
