Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the genesis of a legal-technological hybrid function at the intersection of law, artificial intelligence and knowledge management. The aim of the study is to analyze the structural, normative and epistemic prerequisites under which legal professionals can review and take responsibility for AI-supported decisions. The study pursues a conceptual-theoretical approach that combines legal dogmatic analysis, information science system evaluation and model-based structuring. The study’s framework model integrates the hybrid role into modern organizations’ knowledge and documentationprocesses, making it novel. The results show that AI-supported knowledge processes create new transparancy, documentation and accountability requirements that conventional legal instruments cannot meet. Model versioning, data provenance, audit trails and explainability are essential for legally compliant algorithmic evaluation. Ultimately, the study concludes that institutional anchoring of the hybrid role is an indispensable prerequisite for responsible and legally compliant AI governance in knowledge-intensive business.
