Summary/Abstract: Continental water bodies have been subject to increasing pollution in recent decades. Uncontrolled dumping of plastic, construction, household and other waste is carried out both near water bodies and directly in them. In addition to pollution, this often leads to more serious crisis and emergency situations such as floods, pollution of drinking and groundwater, landslides and others. The purpose of this work is to analyze the methods for controlling pollution of water bodies on land and the technical means used to implement it. Using independent autonomous technical means, it will be possible to monitor large territories for the presence of illegally dumped waste with fewer resources. This will help to more effectively combat unregulated landfills and solve the problem in its infancy and save financial and human resources. An analysis of the use of this type of control has been made and proposals have been made to increase its effectiveness.
