Jacek Staszewski's cooperation with the Wrocław historian community and the establishment of cultural history research in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The article describes the achievements of Professor Jacek Staszewski regarding cultural history and the connections linking him to the community of researchers in Wrocław. It analyses the development of Staszewski's research in this area. It also describes his initiation of interdisciplinary collaboration within the field of historical sciences and other humanities disciplines. The article showcases his contacts with cultural history researchers from the University of Wrocław, whose mentor was Józef Andrzej Gierowski. An analysis of these relationships and their development, as well as the influence they had on the contemporary environment of early modern cultural history researchers in Wrocław, was conducted.
