Summary/Abstract: Monasteries are the fruit of the toil and dedication of their founders, benefactors, donors, and inhabitants. Their duties are outlined in the deeds of endowment and in the monastic rules. Every monastic community has a moral responsibility to know its founders, to commemorate them, and to make their lives and work known to those who cross the threshold of these wonderful monasteries—worshippers, visitors, and tourists. This study reflects the personality of Metropolitan Silvestru Morariu Andrievici and his relationship with Dragomirna Monastery.
