Laboratory of Dreams, Art, and Imagination: From Contemplative Studies to Recording Wartime Experience

Summary/Abstract: The article examines the activity of the Laboratory of Dreams, an educational and artisticinitiative established in Ukraine in the context of war. The authors demonstrate howthe project combines art and education practices with psychological support, creatinga space for working with the children and youth who experience wartime violence. Thelaboratory functions as an experimental form of community, where artistic activitieshelp express emotions, overcome trauma, and build relationships. The text interpretsthe initiative as an example of mobilizing the humanities and art in a crisis situation andas a model of alternative pedagogy based on care and co-creation.
