Summary/Abstract: The opening article to the issue of Teksty Drugie focused on “the university in age of mobilization” discusses various ways of understanding mobilization in the humanities. The author demonstrates how the articles in this issue analyze the relationships between the university, society, and politics in crisis situations, such as student protests, the Russo-Ukrainian war, or institutional transformations in the academia. Mobilization emerges as both grassroots activity of academic communities and the university’s ability to respond to social and political challenges. How long will last the sense of crisis in modern university and its potentially mobilizing function?
