Summary/Abstract: The Occurrence of Children in Conflict with the Law in Society is a complex social phenomenon that is the result of the interaction between individual, family and social risk factors. In recent decades, the scientific and professional literature has increasingly emphasized the need for integrative approaches that, in addition to the legal and social aspects, also include the concept of behavioral health, i.e. factors related to the emotional well-being, behavior and psychosocial development of children. In this context, green social work is developing as a modern approach that connects the principles of social justice, sustainable development and the promotion of mental and behavioral health through activities related to the natural environment and the community. The aim of this paper is to analyze the potential of green social work as an approach in the development and implementation of environmental programs aimed at the resocialization of children in conflict with the law, with special emphasis on their impact on improving behavioral health and the development of prosocial behavior. The paper is based on an analysis of relevant scientific literature, practical experiences in working with children in conflict with the law in Macedonia, practical experiences from pilot activities for the promotion of green social work in the social protection system and youthwork, which are implemented through activities and initiatives of the Association of Social Workers of Macedonia and the platform "Joint for Green Advocacy". The activities include the education of professional workers in the social and child protection system, the development of green programs and encouraging the participation of children and youth in environmental initiatives in the communities. The involvement of children in such activities can contribute to improving emotional stability, developing responsible behavior and strengthening the sense of belonging to the community, which is an important protective factor in the prevention of re-offending. The integration of the principles of green social work and behavioral health represents significant potential for the development of innovative approaches in programs for the prevention and resocialization of children at risk and in conflict with the law.
