Summary/Abstract: This paper explores the multifaceted impact of the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation on the structure of the contemporary labor market and macroeconomic dynamics. It analyzes the dual nature of technological progress, which on the one hand acts as a catalyst for increasing economic productivity and creating new high-value-added professions, while on the other hand generating risks of structural unemployment and deepening social inequality. The study examines the transformation of human capital requirements, emphasizing the need for adaptation of educational systems and the development of digital competencies. Special emphasis is placed on the ethical and regulatory aspects of automation, as well as on strategies to mitigate negative effects on vulnerable workforce groups. The work provides a theoretical foundation for understanding the future of work in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution
