Summary/Abstract: Oscillating between the ideal of privacy‑by‑default and the severity of sanctions imposed by authorities, the year 2025 offered a lesson in legal realism for managing personal data processing operations. This is also why we can state, unequivocally, that in an environment marked by evident digital effervescence, the protection of private life should no longer be a mere procedural checkbox, but should become a standard of excellence and a barometer of organizational integrity.
