Summary/Abstract: Research Papers of University of National and World Economy (UNWE), vol. 5/2023, published my study titled “On the notion of historical epistemology: A general note”. Its continuation is the present discussion of “historical epistemology of economics and its reflection in historiography of economics”. The clearest account of the latter concept is contained in works of Thomas A. Stapleford, esp. Stapleford (2017). The present study outlines the main features of the notion of historical epistemology of economics discussed by T. A. Stapleford and their meaning for the historiography of economic knowledge. From comparatively recent and influential literature in history of economics and economic methodology evidence has been brought in support of the claim for contemporary emphasis in historiography of economics in the light of its historical epistemology.
