Summary/Abstract: An investigative committee is not empowered to directly request the European Parliament to waive the immunity of a Member of the European Parliament insofar as it concerns their arrest and compulsory bringing before that committee. The investigative committee may request the Marshal of the Sejm to submit to the European Parliament, through the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union, a request for the waiver of an immunity of a Member of the European Parliament.
