Summary/Abstract: At the stage of the electoral procedure following the announcement of the election results by the National Electoral Commission, it is not permitted to entrust (either through a new statute or a decision of the First President of the Supreme Court) the adjudication upon the validity of the election to the Court's composition other than explicitly specified in the existing statute. Despite the legal flaws and regardless of how significant they are, the discussed resolution of the Chamber will benefit from the presumption of legality and should be treated by Polish public authorities and citizens as a valid and legally binding rule on the validity of the presidential election. Considering the views of scholarship and case law, reopening of proceedings on the validity of the elections is not possible, nor is appealing against the discussed resolution by means of other extraordinary appeal measures.
