The possibility of questioning the prosecutor by a Sejm investigative committee

Summary/Abstract: In the author's opinion, the Act on Sejm Investigative Committee does not contain any legal obstacles that would prevent the investigative committee from calling the prosecutor conducting or supervising an investigation in a case that is the subject of proceedings before the Sejm investigative committee to testify as a witness. The committee may adopt a resolution releasing the witness - the prosecutor - from the obligation to maintain the secrecy of information covered by prosecutorial secrecy. In such a case, the hearing would take place in closed session.
