Summary/Abstract: The subject of the study is to assess the current regulation of judicial‑administrative proceedings concerning complaints against failure to act or the protracted conduct of administrative proceedings, including proposing solutions to improve their course. In the author's opinion, a complaint against failure to act or the protracted conduct of proceedings only makes sense if it is considered as soon as possible. The current state of affairs requires changes, primarily concerning the hearing of cassation appeals by the Supreme Administrative Court. Introducing as a principle the hearing of these complaints in in camera sittings would be an important step towards accelerating their consideration.
