Summary/Abstract: In our study, following the trend in juvenile delinquency, we sought to describe the phenomenology of this phenomenon and try to understand the observed trends. These are also the two goals of our research. The first objective is descriptive, aiming to observe possible changes in the phenomenology of girls' delinquency over a two-decade period, while the second objective is exploratory. Specifically, the identified trends should allow us to formulate hypotheses about the etiology of this phenomenon. Our initial hypotheses are that the number of girls in conflict with the law is increasing, and that they are increasingly being convicted of crimes involving elements of violence. To examine this, we analyzed officially available statistical data on convicted minors for the period from 2006 to 2025. Consideration of etiology remained at the theoretical level, as we do not have empirical data to support or challenge the theoretical concepts.
