Summary/Abstract: This academic article explores the strategic role and enduring legacy of ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (RA) in advancing the Islamic mission (da‘ëah) ëithin the frameëork of a just and tolerant society. As a pivotal leader in early Islamic history, ʿUmar (RA) dedicated his life to institutionalizing and expanding the principles of Islam through comprehensive administrative reforms and public engagement. His governance exemplified the integration of Islamic moral and social values into neëly emerging societies, ëhile ensuring the institutional strength of the Muslim polity. His approach to da‘ëah - rooted in justice, humility, and devotion - remains a paradigmatic model for contemporary Islamic leadership. The article draës upon primary historical sources and modern academic literature to examine his strategic methods, leadership ethics, and institutional contributions, offering a framework for da‘ëah that is both principled and effective in diverse socio-political contexts.
