Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the phenomenon of health-related infodemic in the context of growing access to digital technologies and the expanding role of social media, which have made misinformation a major public health threat. It explores how false or deliberately manipulated content influences public attitudes and individual health behaviours, ultimately lowering vaccination coverage. Particular focus is placed on anti-vaccine campaigns - their origins, communication strategies, and viral spread. Using the concept of the "infodemic," the authors examine the erosion of trust in public health, rising outbreaks of infectious diseases, social divisions, and propose countermeasures. In this study, AI-based analytical techniques were employed to demonstrate their usefulness in public health research, enabling the systematic examination of large volumes of online content and the identification of patterns in misinformation dissemination.
