Summary/Abstract: The study provides a theoretical examination of personal and professional stress from a multidimensional perspective. In the context of contemporary society, stress represents a major psychosocial issue, significantly affecting the emotional, physical, and relational health of the active adult. Rapid transformations in the occupational environment, digitalization, and increasing performance demands intensify adaptation difficulties. Stress is analyzed as a multidimensional phenomenon, encompassing biological, cognitive, emotional, and social dimensions. The professional component is examined through models such as demand–control model and burnout, highlighting the effects of sustained pressure on motivation and mental health. The paper also explores personal and social implications including role fragmentation, emotional isolation, and a diminished sense of personal meaning. From an applied perspective, stress is conceptualized not only as a negative reaction but also as a potential catalyst for resilience development. Scientifically validated interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness, are presented. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of emotional self-regulation and reconnecting with one’s personal sense of meaning.
