Summary/Abstract: The article presents a new concept of gender-inclusive notation using a gender star in Polish, e.g. leka*rz/rka encompasses both lekarz (a male doctor) and lekarka (a female doctor). The proposed solution fully adheres to the equality principles, without privileging either the masculine or feminine forms, and its structure allows for adding a suffix to account for non-binary individuals. In developing the concept of the inclusive form with gender star, we pay particular attention to the linguistic economy, the form's consistency with the grammatical system of Polish, and its adaptation in natural language processing, which is crucial for quantitative text analysis. The study includes an analysis of various text genres in order to adapt appropriate inclusive strategies, and an experiment in which texts are automatically converted into their inclusive versions using appropriately prompted large language models. The results show that models are not yet fully effective in gender-inclusive text generation, i.e. it is still a great challenge for them to generate adequate inclusive forms consistent with the genre of the processed text.
