Summary/Abstract: This contribution examines the kaleidoscopic nature of Kilito’s work Par Dieu, cette histoire est mon histoire !. The book is organized around three narratives. The first, that of Hasan al-Basri, is drawn from The Arabian Nights. The second recounts the story of Hasan Miro and his wife Nora, which problematizes the status of an allegedly “evil” book: Abu alHayyane al-Tawhidi’s The Satire of the Two Viziers, a text that underscores the failure of the relationship between power and the intellectual. The third tale follows the adventures of Julius Morris, who has previously engaged with the cursed book. We begin by analyzing the interplay and decompartmentalization among these narratives, while emphasizing the role of the allegedly “evil” book. Finally, we turn to the structure of the work, focusing on its composition and aesthetics.
