Summary/Abstract: This review is an attempt to discuss the idea of the unity of religion and philosophy in the work of Abū Naṣr Muḥammad al-Fārābī, one of the greatest representatives of the medieval Arab-Muslim philosophical culture, undertaken on the basis of chronologization of studies conducted both in Kazakhstan— the homeland of the scholar—and beyond. The legacy of al-Farabi is not only studied in various fields of science but also occupies a significant place in the history of science. His synthesis of religion and philosophy laid the foundation for a rational approach to metaphysical and ethical inquiries, influencing subsequent scientific and philosophical developments in both the Islamic world and medieval Europe.
