Regional Library "Stilian Chilingirov" – Shumen and teenagers as a strategic audience of the institution

Summary/Abstract: The report, based on an analysis of the age category of teenagers, presents the experience of the Regional Library "Stilian Chilingirov" in Shumen. In the transition from childhood to teenage age, the library has an important role in terms of predisposing and introducing students to the adult world. It has the capacity to determine the trajectories of the emotional and educational development of teenagers and is a key partner of the school and the family. The factors influencing the presence of teenagers in the library are analyzed.
