Summary/Abstract: A small fishing boat was moored on a glade in a park surrounding the manor house in Krasnogruda. In 2022 this much-used vessel was brought over by the Signum Foundation from the island of Lampedusa. Several years earlier a group of seventeen exiles sailed in it from the African continent to this Italian island. The presented text attempts an all-sided description of the object in question. Starting with a phenomenological description, and via other contexts (historical, political and literary), the author attempts to name the phenomenon of the Krasnogruda Exiles Boat, disclosing it as a palimpsest and multi-strata symbol together with the cultural texts and tales entwining it.
