The Impact of the “First Krasnogruda”

Summary/Abstract: The milieu gathered around the Żuławy Museum in Nowy Dwór Gdański and the regional quarterly “Prowincja” benefitted from inspirations and contacts developing from cooperation with the Borderland Foundation, the International Centre for Dialogue, and the imagination of Krzysztof Czyżewski. Such inspirations called for seeking material traces of the presence of Czesław Miłosz in the Żuławy Fens, i.e. predominantly the home in which the poet’s family resided after leaving the Vilnius Region and where he saw his mother several days before she passed away.
