Summary/Abstract: The migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border prompted a series of measures by the Polish authorities aimed at strengthening border security and triggered political and media debates concerning the threats arising from its breaches. One of the key aspects of these discussions was the approach of policymakers toward individuals attempting to enter Polish territory illegally - an issue that sparked public controversy and debate due to the humanitarian dimension of the actions undertaken. In light of the above, the objective of this article is to examine the attitudes of Polish citizens toward migrants illegally crossing the Polish-Belarusian border, within the context of the perceived security threats. For the purpose of this analysis, it is hypothesized that Poles' attitudes toward this group of migrants are shaped by events that have destabilized the sense of security within Polish society. The research analysis employs the following methods: descriptive, comparative, and secondary data analysis (CBOS).
