Summary/Abstract: The specificity of anti-Russianism in Georgia lies in the fact that, unlike Russophobia, it does not encompass all phenomena and matters related to Russia, concerns only part of Georgian society, and its development in the examined period of 2022-2024 has sources that are not only external (Russia's attack on Ukraine, immigration from Russian Federation to Georgia, EU and US policy towards the Russian Federation in the conflict with Ukraine ) but also internal (the policy of the Georgian Dream party, in particular the adoption by the GM government of legal solutions imitating Russian ones, freezing the integration process and resigning from EU grants). The aim of the article is to explain toward which elements of Russian (state, V. Putin, the foreign policy of the Russian Federation, Russians, Russian culture, including the Russian language) being Georgians have a negative attitude, and toward which they have a neutral or positive attitude, and what historical, cultural, political, and economic conditions contribute to this. It is assumed that in the period 2022-2024, the latter two most significantly shaped Georgians' approach to Russianness.
