Summary/Abstract: On January 1, 2025, the Act on Civil Protection and Civil Defense (OLiOC) came into force in Poland. However, the entry into force of these long-awaited regulations does not solve all problems, as it requires effective and efficient implementation, for which provincial governors are largely responsible in the provinces. With this in mind, the Małopolska Voivodeship Office has taken steps to involve the local community in the implementation process. Innovative activities aimed at the residents of Małopolska were carried out as part of projects targeting children, young people, and adults, especially seniors. As part of these activities, the objectives and assumptions of the new act were presented in an innovative, accessible, and tailored manner to the needs of specific groups. The activities carried out are considered appropriate, effective, and worthy of implementation in other provinces as well.
