Summary/Abstract: Energy efficiency is a key priority. Concerns about climate change and rising oil prices in countries that are heavily dependent on imported fossil fuels are driving demand for alternatives. This is leading to the rapid development of electric vehicle charging stations. The transition to electric vehicles requires the construction of a charging station (CS) infrastructure, supported by information technology, distributed energy generators, and favorable government policies.
