Summary/Abstract: Inspired by waste studies/garbology, the author examines the novels and dramas by Dorota Masłowska, where rubbish emerges both as a theme and a method of literary (smart)production. The analysis is grounded in Roch Sulima’s anthropology of everyday life and Maria Janion’s concept of “phantasmal critique.”
