Summary/Abstract: The article aims to establish an aesthetic genealogy of the latest edition of Vicente Luis Mora's project titled Circular 22 (2022). The reading of Mora's text is situated within a diachronic and comparative framework. Departing from the Wittgensteinian concept of family resemblance, the author establishes similarities between Mora's work and texts from different cultures, including Spanish culture, in line with a spatial dynamic driven by the presence of the Polish editor Monika Sobołewska. The article demonstrates the apocryphal character of the editor, indicating that her insertion in Circular 22 obeys a desire to overcome the center-periphery dialectic, the desire which is sometimes thwarted. The texts aesthetically related to Mora's work, namely the old Polish and Lithuanian silva rerum, the Mnemosyne Atlas by Aby Warburg, An Attempt at Exhausting a Place in Paris by Georges Perec and How to Make a Novel by Miguel de Unamuno, share with Mora's project the desire to integrate a discursive and artistic diversity as an expression of a totalizing will.
