Summary/Abstract: The poetry of Gherasim Luca often strikes readers as disconcerting due to its rebellious content and linguistic anomalies. These elements, however, aim to regenerate language and renew the meaning of existence, rather than embarrass the reader. Luca’s ambition is to invigorate language and express what is silenced by conventional language. Although his expression may seem monstruous, it shows what was previously unseen, actualizing the potential of language. His poetic expression is therefore a revelation, fulfilling the promise of language through an autopoietic principle.
