Summary/Abstract: My research mobility from November 2025 at Saint Epiphanios Cultural Academy Ayia Napa, Cyprus, as part of the eu‑funded resilience program, offered me the opportunity to explore and understand Cyprus’s religious traditions and especially the role played by religious beliefs in fostering the openness of its people towards the others, no matter what their religion might be. The Ayia Napa Monastery is just one of the numerous monasteries of Cyprus that promote the spiritual, historical, and cultural heritage of the island, while responding to the constant challenges for European society, especially when it comes to migration. The efforts of both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots towards living together in peace and harmony are significant steps toward reconciliation amid the troubled history of the island of Aphrodite.
