Summary/Abstract: This article describes love lyricism present in the work of selected émigré poets from the London group "Kontynenty". It provides a profile of this poetic group and focuses primarily on the love lyric poems of four authors: Andrzej Busza, Bogdan Czaykowski, Adam Czerniawski and Florian Śmieja. Their poetry contains an exceptionally large number of love lyric poems and these are interesting works from a literary perspective. They date from the group period, as well as from more recent times, when these authors had already made their individual mark on the literary map. The motif of love, and the portrayal of women, is activated primarily in connection with intertextual and intersemiotic cultural dialogue. We are dealing with a lyrical re-enactment of myths and cultural traditions related to love and women. The article ends with a summary of literary reflections.
