IV. CASE LAW Annual Case Law Review of the Constitutional Court of Romania for the Year 2025

Summary/Abstract: In this chronicle, the decisions of admission handed down by the Constitutional Court of Romania and published in the Official Gazette during 2025 have been selected. In the reference year, a slight increase in the total number of decisions can be observed compared to 2024; however, the number of decisions remains low relative to the years prior to 2021, when the Court issued more than 900 decisions. We note that this is the fourth consecutive year in which the Constitutional Court has not delivered any decision under the competence provided by Article 146 letter e) of the Constitution, namely the settlement of legal conflicts of a constitutional nature.
