Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to identify and analyse patterns in quantitative and spatial change in industrial activity in the Wrocław agglomeration: 2008-2024. Statistical methods and GIS tools were used in the study, and the primary source of information is data from the REGON register. The results indicate deglomeration trends, particularly evident in the wider agglomeration where the number of industrial entities increased by 17.6%, with the growth rate being significantly higher (+73.3%) than in Wrocław itself (+6.8%). Micro‑enterprises dominate the industrial structure while the largest plants are concentrated along the main transport arteries. The most developed industries are electrical engineering, metalworking, chemical and food processing, confirming the region's industrial tradition. The results of the research can support spatial planning and agglomeration development policy in the context of the long‑term effects of post‑socialist transformation.
