Summary/Abstract: The use of experiments enriches science lessons and also enables experiential learn¬ing. Despite everything, teachers use them less often, even though the framework curriculum would provide an opportunity for it. The current research examines the opinions of upper-secondary school students with mild intellectual disabilities (N=47) and typically developing students (N=51) regarding experimentation, and were pre¬sented with ten experiments, for which knowledge-testing questions were also asked. The results show that students are happy to participate in lessons where experiments are presented to them. Students who like science subjects more have better results on the knowledge-testing test. In the case of the two student groups, a significant difference was found in several experiments when checking the knowledge acquired through experiments.
