Summary/Abstract: This article addresses the relationship between electroacoustic music and bodily movement in the context of contemporary performative practices. The point of departure is the method of Émile Jaques-Dalcroze, whose principles of embodied musical experience are reinterpreted here. The author analyses the possibilities of updating this method in working with electronically processed sound, devoid of traditional rhythmic and metric structures. It is indicated that movement can become a tool for the perception and expression of sound in new technological contexts. The article describes examples of performative practices in which the body functions as an interface between sound and space. The conclusions emphasize the importance of integrating music education and performance art in the development of contemporary forms of movement-sound expression.
