Summary/Abstract: We present two statistical documents of a judicial nature – one that can be dated between April 1, 1816, and June 10, 1816, and the other from February 1, 1817 – both significant for the reliable information they provide regarding a fragment of judicial practice from the early nineteenth century, a period in which historical sources on the history of criminal law are very few in number. We emphasize the accuracy of the data recorded especially in the second vidomostie (list, table, inventory of judicial documents), which details the circumstances under which the crimes were committed, the course of the trials, and the punishments received by the convicted persons.
