Summary/Abstract: In the article, the author attempts to discuss the protection of personal data in insurance activities. Personal data processing is a process that requires analysis due to the multitude of insurance entities and the varying legal bases. The author interpreted the basic issues regulated by the GDPR and performed a functional analysis in the context of insurance activities.
