Summary/Abstract: Published between 1892 and 1893, "Organ Prowincyonalnego Towarzystwa Pszczelarzy na W. Ks. Poznańskie" was a journal known within the beekeeping community. However, due to the lack of surviving copies, it had not been studied directly. The situation changed with the discovery of a complete set of issues in a private collection. The aim of this article is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the journal, both in terms of its content and its connections with the environment, that is the history of the founding institution, its place among other 19th Polish beekeeping periodicals, its presence in specialized bibliographies, and the profiles of its editors. The study employs the following methods: inductive and deductive, critical analysis, content analysis, and bibliographical research. Findings: "Organ..." was a bilingual journal. In the first year of the magazine's existence, the Polish version was translated from German, which should be considered the primary language. In the following year, the journal was divided, with each language edition having a separate editor. Since no German copies have been found to date, a direct comparative analysis is not possible. The Polish edition of "Organ..." was modest in size and had a limited print run. It quickly became unavailable in its original form, and references to it were often distorted, diminishing its value as a periodical. The memory of this title has survived only in a few bibliographies and studies on beekeeping literature. Contrary to the established narrative, it should be recognized as an important publication - not only as an association journal promoting apiculture but, more significantly, as a publication of official organization, published in Polish language at a time of intensified anti-Polish policies by the German state.
