Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to look at the basic assumptions of personalist philosophy and pedagogy, especially the concept of the person and its formation over the centuries, from antiquity to the present, the role of the teacher, the optics and essence of personalist education and the teacher-pupil relationship in this current of thought. The above analyses are an attempt to find the answer to the question - can personalist philosophy and pedagogy serve to develop and promote the idea of homeschooling?
