Let’s Talk About Assessment... On Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Supportive Assessment

Summary/Abstract: In pedagogical discourses devoted to school education, the issue of assessment has been present for a long time, and recently the considerations in this area have focused on school assessment supporting the comprehensive development of the student. According to the commonly accepted definition, quoted by many sources, school assessment, as a process, consists of two stages. The first is the valuation of educational achievements of learning, and the second is the communication of the obtained results to the student. The first part of this article recalls the functions and theoretical aspects of constructing supportive assessment. The second part presents an innovative proposal for contemporary pedagogical practice - a model of language communication that offers opportunities for communicating assessments of a supportive nature.W pedagogicznych dyskursach poświęconych edukacji szkolnej problematyka oceniania obecna jest od dawna, w ostaniem czasie rozważania w tym zakresie koncentrują się wokół oceny szkolnej wspierającej wszechstronny rozwój ucznia. Zgodnie z powszechnie przyjętą i przywoływaną przez wiele źródeł definicją szkolne ocenianie, jako proces, składa się z dwóch etapów. Pierwszym jest wartościowanie edukacyjnych osiągnięć uczenia się, drugim zaś komunikowanie pozyskanych wyników uczniowi. W pierwszej części niniejszy artykuł przywołuje funkcje i teoretyczne aspekty konstrukcji oceny wspierającej. Część druga to nowatorska, dla współczesnej praktyki pedagogicznej, propozycja modelu komunikacji językowej, którego wykorzystanie stwarza szanse na komunikowanie ocen o wspierającym charakterze.
