Summary/Abstract: The document contains an analysis of migratory return from the United States of America to Mexico in the context of antimigration policies from 2017 to 2024. The concept of return migration is reviewed from the perspective of the migration system to affirm the complexity of this phenomenon in the migratory dynamics between the two countries. It is hypothesized that in the current context of the reinforcement of the persecution, detention and expulsion of migrants, "pseudo-voluntary" returns of the migrant population that returns to Mexico to avoid the stress and fear caused by criminalizing and violent discourses against immigration are generated.
